After the boiler repairs Merddin Emrys was steamed up and used for some light shunting and then undertook a number of test runs firstly light engine and then on the front of service trains.

These few pictures are chance shots of its unannounced trips out and about

 

This view (15/8/08) shows Merddin Emrys shunts Prince into the Erecting Shop at Boston Lodge.
